Spatial Data Private Limited (Spinfo) was formed in May 1999 with a vision to spread the use of GIS technology among a wider user population. Spinfo has since grown into a successful company carving a niche for itself in the Indian GIS and IT industry. Currently, there are more than twenty five professionals working on various solutions and projects.

The right people, the right technology, the right infrastructure and the right experience synergistically contribute to the success of Spinfo in meeting the needs of its growing customer base.

The Spinfo team is young and vibrant, and has people with varied backgrounds. The team is comprised of Science Graduates, MCAs, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical Engineers, and Management Graduates. The collective experience of the team in the GIS industry spans several decades.

The Key Members include Dr. S. Rajagopalan, and Mr. Shankar K.N., who have between them more than 50 years of industry experience.
