Functions in this module enable the user to carry out simple analysis functions and generate corresponding thematic maps. Click here to see a sample of Thematic Map
The user can build expressions in SQL (Structured Query Language), process them over a table and display the results of the query in either map form or tabular form. Click here to see the Query Builder Screen

This function allows the users to add another column to the table with which they are working. The values of this column can be calculated by specifying a metric. For example, an indicator based on difference in the literacy percentage between male and female can be calculated using this function. The column so calculated can then be used for thematic mapping under Unique Value, Interval, Standard Deviation, or Rank. Click here to see the create your own metric screen.

This function allows the user to import existing tablular data (.xls, .dbf and .mdb files) into Spinfo SIS. Once imported, spatial analysis of this data is enabled. Click here to see add my table screen

Use this function to measure the distance between features on the map.Click to mark the start point of the distance to be measured. Drag the cursor to the desired location and release the cursor to mark the end of segment. The distance in meters will be displayed in the bottom bar on the screen.

The maps can be saved as images. This can be used to incorporate maps into reports.
Spinfo SIS allows user to add graphics on top of the maps. SIS allows adding of text, point, line, circle, rectange, polygon, legend and scale.

This tool can be used to generate a sheet made of point objects. The points can be added to an existing sheet or to a new sheet. SIS also allows the user to delete the points created. Click here to see add my point dialog box
This function can be used to generate a new map sheet by using a polygon sheet provided in the product as reference. The created polygons will be added to the map as a separate map Sheet. Data can then be added to these polygons and analyzed.
